Hi, we are Virtual Film School, the only film school that teaches New Media content creation and monetization to students in a fully interactive, fun, and supportive learning environment via virtual reality.

The need for virtual education opportunities has grown with the continuation of the COVID-19 pandemic. No other schools are exclusively focused on engaging students through interactive virtual classrooms. This is what sets us apart and why we are seeking your support to bring this to more students across the globe.

Traditional film schools are not set up for online learning. In fact, most higher education institutions are not breaking through to today’s distracted generation. Students today are not learning effectively via Zoom classrooms, pre-recorded lectures, and textbooks.

Virtual Film School classes are taught live in virtual reality. A student can join from anywhere in the world and therefore, no longer need to relocate to expensive cities to participate in their education, potentially leaving behind family, friends, and essential resources.

Students will join live classes from anywhere in the world. Virtual Film School plans to continue to create virtual reality educational experiences that can be easily accessible for all students with the hope of bridging this gap and providing equal opportunities for access to education regardless of physical location or socioeconomic status.

Our classes are taught by the top Hollywood and London filmmakers and instructors in the film and web video industries.

Frank Chindamo, President of VFS, as a filmmaker has worked on Ghostbusters and SNL. He runs Fun Little Movies, one of the world’s top producers of comedic “Advertainment” videos for the web. He’s won over 30 awards for his work and been lauded on the front pages of Forbes Magazine, the LA Times, and in the Wall Street Journal, NY Times, CNN, and USA Today.

Dr. John Holder heads up the UK’s cutting-edge VR & AR RealitiesCenter, drawing on 20 years of experience in the field. He has led software teams for clients which include Global Fortune 500 corporations and delivered multi-million dollar VR projects with eCommerce integration.

Ivan Levene, a screenwriter, and lecturer, has over 20 years of experience as a successful screenwriter, script editor, and development executive on film and TV productions across the world.

Through a partnership with an accredited higher education institution, Virtual Film School has been preliminarily approved to offer an accredited bachelor’s degree that students can complete in three years. All courses, across all member colleges, meet the same standards of scholarly excellence. All courses must undergo an academic peer-review and a quality assurance process based on the European Standards Guidance. Credits will be issued under the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS), which is the largest and most sophisticated accreditation system in the world. ECTS credits are globally recognized and transferrable.

You can invest in higher education for the next generation through the Virtual Film School crowdfunding campaign. The transaction is expected to raise $1,070,000 in 2022 subject to customary closing conditions. Virtual Film School intends to use the proceeds from the offering for software development, working capital, and general corporate purposes, including sales and marketing activities, product development, and capital expenditures. The crowdfunding project page can be accessed online here.

Frank Chindamo, Founder of Virtual Film School said, “Steven Spielberg’s vision of the future and Mark Zuckerberg’s Metaverse are now underway, and the race is on to build the world’s first Metaverse film school. An AR, VR, MR, XR community that offers a New Media major inside a diverse and inclusive Virtual Reality classroom. Brick and mortar film schools aren’t set up for meta-learning, and they don’t teach what today’s media students want to learn: New Media. These funds will help us execute our business plan and consider a number of growth opportunities as they arise.”
