This hands-on course introduces students to motion graphics and its application in New Media. Students will study the history of the field, including the work of pioneers, graphic editing techniques, storytelling, music and design for motion, working with green screens and LED walls, and the theories of kinetic composition and aesthetics in Virtual Production. This program uses compositing and effects software, including programs such as After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, 3ds Max, and/or Cinema 4D
